My name is Marek Tarka.
With over 29 years of international manufacturing experience, I specialise in aluminium extrusion, production improvement and operational excellence, helping manufacturing companies increase productivity, optimise processes and achieve sustainable operational excellence.
Throughout my career, I have progressed from production floor operations to executive leadership, managing manufacturing organisations of up to 250 employees. I have worked with international companies across Europe, the USA and Asia, helping manufacturers improve productivity, optimise operations and achieve sustainable business growth.
For more than 14 years, I have held senior leadership positions, leading production organisations, greenfield projects and operational transformation initiatives. My experience combines strategic management with extensive hands-on shop-floor knowledge, allowing me to quickly identify improvement opportunities and convert them into measurable business results.
Today, I support manufacturing companies in improving operational performance through independent manufacturing audits, executive consulting, operational assessments and practical improvement programmes. My approach focuses on increasing productivity, improving equipment utilisation, reducing waste, optimising manufacturing processes and developing stronger production organisations.
To support continuous improvement, I developed the Waste Time Eliminator (WTE) methodology—a practical productivity improvement system designed to identify, measure and eliminate production losses. WTE transforms shop-floor observations into measurable improvements in productivity, OEE, equipment utilisation and overall manufacturing performance.
I also provide executive training and coaching for production managers, manufacturing engineers and operational teams, helping organisations build internal capabilities and achieve long-term operational excellence.
In addition, I support investors and manufacturing companies by performing Operational and Technical Due Diligence, providing independent assessments of manufacturing operations, operational risks and improvement potential during investment and acquisition projects.
