With over 29 years of experience in the aluminium extrusion industry, I have worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles, including die corrector, production worker, process engineer and senior operational leadership as Production Director and Plant Director for leading companies such as Hydro, Sapa, and Vimetco.
My name is Marek Tarka.
With over 29 years of experience in the aluminium extrusion industry, I have worked in a variety of technical and leadership roles, including die corrector, production worker, process engineer and senior operational leadership as Production Director and Plant Director for leading companies such as Hydro, Sapa, and Vimetco.
For the past 14 years, I have focused on strategic operations, driving efficiency, innovation, and organisational excellence.
Most recently, I spent almost four years as a Senior Extrusion Consultant in South Korea. I played a key role in successfully developing a greenfield project, a 14” / 75 MN extrusion press + die shop and soda caustic line with a soda recovery system.
In a manufacturing world that’s constantly changing, aluminium extrusion companies are under pressure to enhance efficiency while also delivering higher standards of quality, innovation, and environmental responsibility.
